Brooke and Zach’s Cacapon State Park wedding in Berkeley Springs was one of those days that just felt joyful from beginning to end.
The kind of day where people are relaxed, laughter comes easily, and everything feels meaningful without trying too hard.
These two are such a sweet and fun couple, and their wedding reflected that perfectly. Thoughtful details, beautiful wildflowers, a vintage car that added the most timeless touch, and a whole lot of love from the people surrounding them.
It was truly such a beautiful day to document.
The Venue | Cacapon State Park
Cacapon State Park is tucked into the mountains just outside of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, and it’s such a beautiful spot for couples planning a Cacapon State Park wedding.
Rolling hills, tall trees, open skies, and peaceful views everywhere you turn. It feels quiet and tucked away, but still easy for guests to get to. The park offers several ceremony and reception spaces, which makes it really versatile whether you’re planning something small and intimate or a larger gathering with family and friends.
One of my favorite things about venues like Cacapon is that the landscape does so much of the work for you. The mountains and greenery create such a naturally beautiful setting that couples can keep their décor simple and let the scenery shine.
It’s a perfect fit for couples who love the outdoors and want their wedding day to feel relaxed and genuine.
The Couple | Brooke & Zach
Brooke and Zach are the kind of couple that just naturally have fun together. From the moment we started taking photos, they were laughing, joking, and completely comfortable being themselves. We had so much fun with some editorial style prompts with them for this one! Think serious, romantic vibes!
Their color palette was soft and romantic, and they incorporated wildflowers throughout the day, which tied everything together beautifully with the natural setting of the park. The bouquets were especially stunning, full of texture and color without feeling overly formal.
And then there was the vintage car, which was such a fun and timeless detail. It added so much personality to their portraits and felt like something straight out of an old love story!
The entire day felt joyful and relaxed. Family and friends were fully present, cheering them on during the ceremony and celebrating them throughout the evening.
Exactly the kind of wedding day that reminds you what all of this is really about!!
